  OMG!!! I (Angie) had not been to Fraser Island for over 20 years. I was very worried about going back after so long and being disappointed as most all of the camping laws are different now. We decided to go to the Beachcamp instead and I have never been more happier. I honestly did not want to come home at all. I have decided that I want to retire to the Island when I'm past my used by date. Without staying at the Beachcamp, I don't think we would have enjoyed our Island visit as much. Mark and Hana and their staff are amazing, the glamping was exactly that. electricity, hot shower, toilet,and full kitchen to use. Don't forget the wood fired pizza oven either.

  We booked 2 dorm rooms at the Beachcamp Retreat for a group of 14 for New Years. We were so happy with the amazing Service we received from Jess and the whole team. We booked only about 2 weeks out, so were ecstatic that they had space available and could accommodate our changing needs with our big group. The rooms were clean and beds comfy; fully equiped kitchens and only a stones throw to the beach. We couldn't have asked for a better New Years. Thanks again!

  Had a great time staying at the Beachcamp Retreat - friendly staff, great food and dingo sticks provided for those hunting the sun/moonrise. Highly recommended!

  Our queen bed room was as comfortable if not better than being at home. The lovely breezes that came into the room in the early morning and evenings. The hammocks and fireplace out the front. So relaxing. We enjoyed our breakfast and coffee out the front at the table where you could imagine what the day had in store for us and we did most of our planning for the day.
